Doña Ana County's administrative offices will be closed Monday, September 4, in observance of Labor Day.

Since 1894, the first Monday in September has been a holiday to celebrate the contributions and achievements of the more than 155 million people who make up the U.S. workforce.

County emergency services and law enforcement in the field will not be affected, but the administrative offices of the Detention Center, Sheriff’s Office, Emergency Management and Fire & Rescue will be closed.

Regular hours of operation for all offices will resume at 8 a.m. Tuesday, September 5.
